 | About UsThe Loess Hills Creative Crochet studio is located near the beautiful loess hills of Iowa just a few miles north of Council Bluffs,. The studio came into being in 2009 when I wasn't able to find an Aran style afghan that could be crocheted in one piece, so I decided to design my own, and I haven't stopped. In addition to designing, I also teach crochet. I earned a Masters Degree in Adult Education from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa which gives me a unique understanding about how people learn. I learned crochet basics from my dear mother and have been crocheting ever since. After completing a program of study I received my crochet teaching certification through the Craft Yarn Council of America. I am a professional member of the Crochet Guild of America.
